Proudly supporting the Be Beautiful, Be Yourself fashion show campaign

At Whispering Smith, we are proud to say that we are teaming up with the North West based charity, The Friendship Circle, to present a fashion show which will celebrate diversity and put people living with disabilities on the catwalk. Aiming to change people’s perspectives and break down the barriers faced by people with disabilities in the community.
The Friendship Circle is a charity with the aims of enriching the lives of children and adults with disabilities in our community through a range of fully integrated social and recreational programmes.
After two years of postponing due to the pandemic Be Beautiful, Be Yourself will take place in Prestwich over two days in September with a team of models aged 21 to 40 and even some of The Friendship Circle’s volunteers who support the charity.
Our director, Rohina Kumar, has said: “We are proud to support The Friendship Circle and the important work that they do. Fashion and clothing should never be a barrier, and we have made sure to adapt our styles so that all of those taking to the catwalk can feel at their most confident. We are also proud to be providing funds that will allow the Friendship Circle to continue their lifeline work.”
The show will take place on September 14 and 15 and at the Hilton Suite in Prestwich and will see two groups of models entertaining guests. We even have Deborah Joseph, the Editor-in-Chief of fashion bible, Glamour Magazine, attending to offer her support.
